I don't understand exactly what you mean by Goddess?
The Goddess is the divine spark at the heart of all women, the true
feminine energy of creation, wisdom, intuition and unconditional love.
She stands in balance of the masculine energy of assertion, intellect,
competition and achievement which have dominated our culture for centuries
at great cost to both our environment and our relationships. A woman
who has woken up to the Goddess within her integrates these energies
in her life consciously. She seeks to bring love, beauty and truth
to the world by her presence as much as by her actions. She embraces
her body and her feelings as an expression of her soul and celebrates
her spirit by adorning herself in colourful clothing as a gift of
beauty back to the world. She brings a reminder of the Sacred back
to the earth with her enchanting, feminine presence.

Who runs The Goddess Collection and what is the inspiration behind
the business?
The Goddess Collection is run by Laura Berridge who combines her professional
skills as a clothes designer and a healer to help women embrace their
inner Goddess - their potential. Laura ran her own tailoring business
from 1992 dressing London's successful executives. As she became increasingly
interested in personal and spiritual development she trained as an
Image Consultant, Aura-Soma Colour Therapist, NLP Coach, Reiki Master
and Face-Soul Reader aswell as participating in many other psychological,
mystical and shamanic trainings. The Goddess Collection is the synthesis
of her own journey of discovery and she offers the fruits of it back
to other women to support and inspire them in their process of integration.

All women wishing to value their innate femininity and dress in a
way which reflects their Soul. Clients come from all walks of life:
successful city executives, lawyers, bankers, marketing executives
and media presenters, models, dancers, performers and actresses, therapists,
psychologists, artists, teenagers leaving home for college, recent
graduates gaining their first career promotion, mothers, grandmothers...
Laura has facilitated events for Breast Cancer Care charity since
2001, aswell as repeated promotions for Jeff Banks, Champneys, Notting
Hill's The Ladbroke Rooms, Cadburys and Holiday Inn all along the
theme of "Colour, Clothes and the Goddess within you

How would I benefit from a consultation - in practical terms?
Clients lives transform in the weeks that follow the consultation.
You will become more comfortable within your own skin, confident of
your femininity, sensuality and inner gifts. You will gain a comprehensive
understanding of how to dress to most flatter your physical form and
make shopping much more time and cost effective. An alchemy takes
place as a woman embraces the Goddess within her which enhances all
areas of her life - romance, friendships, career and family - in the
most beautiful way.

Where are the sessions held?
In West Hampstead, North West London, unless special arrangements
have been made for a larger group seminar in the London area.

Will I risk losing my individual dress sense with this type of consultation?
Most women find that the consultation hones their existing style,
clarifying precisely why particular outfits are favourites and always
will be - and how to ensure every garment becomes such a success.
There is always room for improvement and clarity - and with the work
being done on the level of body, mind/emotions and soul you will get
good value for your investment. The process is very interactive so
rest- assured you will be co-creating your image.

and what would I gain now?
The intention at The Goddess Collection is to support women in bringing
out their true inner feminine nature - integrating their spirit and
body - and then creating a style of dressing which reflects that.
It is an indepth, holistic approach to image and colour work with
a healing and coaching element and a lot of personal attention. If
you are looking to commission your own Goddess dress or outfit, you
will require the foundation this consultation provides.

How can I justify paying for a consultation when I could buy a new
outfit with the money?
Most clients find that the consultation actually pays for itself within
weeks. Just from a practical level take a look at how many clothes
you have in your wardrobe -- how many are favourites? How many have
hardly been worn? How much stress do you go through whilst shopping
or dressing before going out on an important meeting or date? If you're
like most people you probably wear 15% of your wardrobe 85% of the
time - so you will make quite a considerable saving over a lifetime
just by making wiser purchases. You may even have confidence to buy
finer quality clothing and build up a real wardrobe of stunning garments
and accessories to cherish for a lifetime knowing they express the
true you... That alone has to be a worthwhile investment .

This is a very nurturing, compassionate process and clients open up
and relax very quickly here. Most British girls grow up with little
affirmation for their value or beauty - so a day of being affirmed
and encouraged can work miracles. And of course the paradox is the

Is there a short taster session I could try before committing myself
to a whole day consultation?
You could book in for a Transformational Coaching session, bringing
with you a specific issue in your life you would like to change. This
would give you the opportunity to meet Laura and see if you feel ready
to commit further.

Once you've analysed my colours and style, how do I put a new wardrobe
together?
You will receive detailed notes from the session, a wallet of colour
swatches and an indication of the shops and designers likely to provide
your look. You may book a follow-up session to review purchases and
get feedback. Accompanied shopping trips are also available for support.
You may consider commissioning a Goddess Dress or outfit which Laura
will design specifically for you and have made by her experienced
dressmakers and tailors.

What support is there after the initial Goddess Image day?
Many clients choose to take advantage of on-going coaching or healing
sessions (see Personal Coaching and Healing) to support them in releasing
limiting beliefs or patterns. There is a wide network of like-minded
friends (see links page) who provide complimentary services. Also,

Do you work with men too?
Yes, all the services offered to women are also available to men,
including bespoke tailoring of suits and outfits and the healing/coaching.
This works particularly well for Weddings where Bride and Groom can
each have a special consultation and have outfits designed to ensure
they both look Divine for their big day ..... Traditional suits, fancy
waistcoats, morning suits, frock-coats are all available .. aswell
as more individual designs to express your true nature..
